Secondary Schools Camp!

It's 3.14am and our camp team meeting has just started...woohoo
The campers are fast asleep after a hectic and fun day at Sentosa!

Today is the first day of camp and I see many familiar faces.
Faces that I've seen over the weekend at Red Rain Concert!
People like Norris, Cheryl Koh etc.
Welcome to the camp (:

So many exciting things happened in just one day.
From Sentosa to Human treasure hunt to some free time at the beach and it goes on...evans almighty, narnia...
I'm currently into my next meeting for the night.
Camp is definitely fun!
Seeing so many young people planning the games, being in the food department, the logistics etc.
It somehow thrills my heart because this is the action.

I see our faces when I look at them.
How far have we walked in this journey and how much have we experienced in our relationship with God.
It's truly wonderful.

Today, my Pastors came back form Australia.
I really miss them.
There seems to be so many things that's on my mind that I want share with my Pastors.
My convictions, my revelations, my thoughts, things which I've been through this season, things which I need my Pastor's advice in...

Haha. It's getting late. I seems to be going from topic to topic.
Alright, I've got to get some work done. Goodnight people.

Joanne

Red Rain Concert #Night One

Red Rain was sizzling hot just now.
Wow. The concert just gets more exciting and thrilling!
From the band to the music, to the lights, to the hype of the crowd and finally to YOU!
Red Rain has been coming since a few years ago...i can't exactly remember when, but I still love them and their music. What's best is their lyrics!!!

There's his particular line which I really really liike...
It goes something like this - Let the love inside you, be the strength that drives you....woah.
Amazing, amazing lyrics.
If you happen to write songs, you'll understand what i mean.
There is a message beneath the lyrics that the band is trying to send.
Haha. Imagine having great music and nonsensical lyrics?

The concert lasted three hours! I believe the people love it!
TODAY IS GONNA BE EVEN GREATER!!!!More big red balloons flying around...

Besides the music, it was great knowing many people.
Hi, I am so and so from this school, Hi I am so and so from that school...
I can't wait for the Secondary School Camp, so that I'll meet the people again!!
If you were there at the roof terrace of Esplanade last night, and you had loads of fun.
The camp will be breath-taking!

We have so many activities line up for you.
From Sentosa to Food Cross to Human Treasure Hunt to Movie Screening to having lots of free time which our people will be so creative to come up with something to play!
Young people are creative. Anything you name!
If you've heard about the camp, I WANT TO SEE YOU THERE TOO!!! - agrees with Ivan!
Imagine 200 people gathering at Sentosa, it's crazy man! But, it's GOOD. Hahhh.

Today is the last day of Red Rain concert, WOOHOO!!! AMAZING!!!!!
Alright, I've got to go..prepare myself for another rocking concert!
SEE YOU THERE...and AT THE CAMP!!!!

Wooooooo....

According to your Faith

It was such a powerful service last Sunday!
If it seems normal to you, well it's definitely not the case for me.
Ever since my trip to Korea and now, back in Singapore, God is elevating me to encounter Him in a whole new dimension of faith.

Last week, Pastor How preached on faith and confidence.
During the praise and worship, in the midst of all the singing from our most wonderful and anointed worship team and congregation, there i was standing at the second row...being pumped up in my spirit and building on my most holy faith. No longer do I have the time nor the urge to look at the people around me, God was just pointing his finger towards me, getting myself ready for His Word to enter my heart, like a double edged sword, pierced through it - a rhema word from Heaven.

His Word came so clearly to me saying,

"Every godly desires you have in your heart shall come to existence, according to your faith.
Growth will come, according to your faith.
Success shall follow, according to your faith.
Fruitfulness shall blossom in life, according to your faith.
What do you see - according to your faith."

When God speaks, there must be a response - In the name of Jesus, I call those things which do not exist, as though they did. Amen.

The anointing of God rests upon your abilities and talents, which in turn stand on the foundation of your faith and confidence. How much faith do you have today?

It's just so amazing!
I'm ready for the next hurdle in life...faith will move mountains!
I believe.

Faith & Success...the 4th dimension,
Joanne

Bread, bread and bread...

Wooo...IT'S A GOOD DAY!

I'm with Gwyneth at J8, Toastbox and we had french toast, honey thick toast and butter with sugar thick toast. It's a "bread" day! Then we proceed to Cafe' Cartel because she needs a better place to mug for her Chemistry test! Haha... better do well =P We bought a Snackers set and took some bread at the "Eat all you can" corner. Bread all the way...I'm quite sick of it now. Haha.

So here I am at Cafe' Cartel, blogging.
Gwyneth is studying infront of me...with a piece of bread in her hand, munching away.
Chomp chomp.

Gwyneth is just so amazing!!! I love hanging out with her because she's just so simple as a person. Something happened last night and the first person I wanted to share with is her, because I know, she knows what I am talking about. She understands not just by her mere intellect...but, also the intent of the heart. At the rate she's going now, she's just gonna be fantastic. All the way, Gwyneth!!!

Hahha...i don't know what to say in my entry man...Hmmm...
I KNOW...I SHALL CONTINUE ANOTHER DAY!
One random post. Sniggers.

Love Love Love...YOU!

Joanne

I am tougher than I think I am

Have you ever wonder if something happens to you, how much can you hold?

Often I hear people saying things like, "If this is going to happen, I will really be crushed in my heart..." or "If that is going to happen, i cannot imagine what I'll become..."

Hmmm...sounds like those chinese movie, with girls sobbing away...those emo moments.
Yucks.

But really, sometimes people can have such thoughts and they think this is their limit.
I beg to differ.

I think I am tougher than I think I am.
If situation arises or anything disastrous really happens, I will push on. I will.
Been through 1/5 of my life (haha...i'm going to live till a 100 years old), realized it is so important to keep on going.

It is the toughness in your heart...
The gritting of your teeth, the clenching of your fists, the evaluation of the process etc.
After having a bad day, you ended off saying, "Let's go." and you just move forward.
Then, you begin a brand new start in your life.
It's that simple. Hahhs. Yes it is.

At the end of the day, I know deep in my heart, my Jesus loves me the same.
I am tougher than I think I am...
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

It's a brand new day!

No Graduation

It's been a long time since I last blogged.

2007 was amazing. So many things had happened within a year itself.
2008 has just begun and it's already the end of February. Time flies...

I did this once, years ago. But, let me do it again!
I want to start off this year by talking about the heroes in my life.
Every school year, there'll be students graduating.
But in my life, there's no graduation. How wonderful can that be =)

They are the ones who's with you; and will always be.

...Pst How & Pst Lia... I love them very very much. My Pastors, my spiritual parents, my mentor, my role model, my friends...and the list goes on. Many roles intertwined together. That's what makes them special. Hahhs. I do not know how to describe this...it's unexplainable.

...Ivan Poh...He's my leader and my friend. Ever since I came under his leadership, everything changes. In front of a team of great women, there's always a man that's greater. Right Cheryl? heh heh. He's simple, honest, transparent, london...and anything you can name! He shares so much with us, to the point of...testing us of our integrity. We have no choice but to protect him no matter what. Hahhs. Yes, we will. I absolutely enjoy myself when I'm interacting with him and I can be myself whenever he's around. He's a great leader. Someone I will willingly and gladly follow. I love building F2 and Zone F with him.

...Dominic...He's our lao zhong, our zone leader, our WTL and my 'garfield' friend for the past ten years. Ten years is a long time...what I gather about him in this ten years can't be put into a few lines. Good things, nonsensical stuffs, children church, teen cell years etc etc. Too many and too long...But, I must say...he's a person of depth, the best and most anointed keyboardist ever, a great friend to share your heart with, an awesome zone leader and whatever experience you had with him...you name it all. Zone F - 250!

...Pamela Tan... I love her. You see her picture in my mobile phone, my laptop, her mobile...guess what? We are best friends. I love everything about her. She's small, but powerful. We seems to be sharing the same account all the time...i pay for you and you pay for me. Haha. She's simple, pure, passionate, sincere etc. You cannot don't love her when you see her... haahs. Thanks for being my friend (:

...Lynette... My best friend always. There's so much to say. <3

...Charleston...He's an inspiration to me all the time. His convictions, his character, his heart for others, his humility, his openness to our Pastors, his passion, his life. I have so much to learn from Charleston. He's our senior zone leader, yet he is also a friend to many of us. Be around him and observe, you'll see it all. He has taught me many stuffs which I lack in my life. There is so much things which you can draw out from this man of God. I respect him.

...Jian Ming... What you see is what you get. He's that simple. No underline motives, no second meaning from his answers to you, he tells you the truth with strong love. Our Head Usher! I enjoy working with him in Zone F all the time. He adds colours to any conversations, meetings or whatsoever. No longer the boy who saw the table...now, a man marked out for greatness in Christ.

Ahh...I'll continue again..it's never ending...Hahah. Sam, Garrett, Roy, Fifi, Wendy...coming up soon. love God. love people. love life. love joanne

Zone F - Rising up to take their place with selfless faith

I'm seeing life flowing out of Zone F.
I'm seeing visions unfolding by itself.
I'm seeing youths laying down their old self and putting on 'Christ'.
I'm seeing youths not seating down, not lying down...but standing up and walking towards 200.

We are expanding, accelerating, exploding.
We aren't just building a zone.
We are laying the foundations for many generations.

My heart beats for Him.
My heart beats for Zone F.

No longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
I lay down my life for Zone F.
All of me, for all of You

We are standing on the shoulders of our great heroes of faith.
See it, believe it, do it

Zone F, you guys are my heroes!!!
No limits.

1000,
Joanne
