Rain down... all around the world we're singing, RAIN DOWN!
It's raining cats and dogs now, I came home late last night and had a wonderful sleep after all the sweet presence of God and many salvations in Cozycott. I smiled to myself after I woke up, knowing that this coming Sunday is going to be another significant day in Heart of God Church :)
This week, I witnessed many lives changed and given to God,
...how God's love for us is unconditional and never changing
...how your care and concern can touch a person's life
...how your smile can bring so much joy to yourself and to others
...how important you are to Him
...seeing someone's life turning to God
It's amazing being a Christian and I have never regretted being one in HOGC!
Today, I spent the day with my family, having dinner with them.
I felt so bad being out the whole day and seldom get to see them for the past one to two weeks.
But today, it's a family day and I really enjoyed spending time with them and hearing my dad's lame jokes. haha. I admit my dad can be quite good at cheering me up sometimes :)
I really love them very much. This family love is what you can never get else where.
I will treasure it with all my heart :)
I am beginning to love my life even more each day.
Hopeful,
Joanne

updates in life
It's been awhile since I've last blogged =)
It's really tiring to work 8.5 hours a day starring infront of the computer all day long.
Nevertheless, after the two months of work in the commercial department,
I've gained several skills and things in my life which I never had before.
Here are the wonderful results of working in the commercial department!
1) Knowlegde on the usage of Microsoft Excel!
Woohoo...this is one of the skills I've picked up along the way. I used to only know how to sum things up, split columns, freeze pane etc. After working, I became a Excel explorer! Haha. It was so fun learning...VLOOKUP! CONCATENATE! EQUATIONS! etc. Excel is a great programme, got to maiximise the usage of it and don't let Mr Microsoft down! =P
2) Will versus Tiredness
This is a sure battle between the will, the mind and the body.
You get what I mean? Haha
3) Expansion in the Mind
My two faithful friends while I am at work were Excel and numbers!!!
8.5 hours a day looking at numbers, my eyes turned blurry after every evening. Haha.
But, it was a good training for me. I have to fight the tiredness of my eyes, the heaviness of my brain after doing much counting and thinking and the long hours in the office that seems like a freezer to me every day! But, after the two months...It was a great stretch for me! I felt as though my brain literally grew in size! haha. Imagine... eight hours of math everyday! Hahaa. Madness.
Haha. Anymore I can think of...I will update again!
God is GOOD all the time!!!
I love Him to the max =)
love Him. love joanne.

I trust Him.
last sunday, i woke up at 7am in the morning, preparing to go to church
as i was on phenomena. Though it was 7am, i wasn't at the least tired or was i feeling my morning blues.
In fact, i felt a rush of excitement and thrill cause' i know
it's going to be a life changing day! - Heart to Heart with Pastors!!!
i reached church at 7.30am! Ah hem..taking the quickest transport in town.
later on, i went into the nursery to pray by myself. i prayed for the service, i prayed for every soul who's going to receive the word of God, i prayed for pastors, i also prayed for phenomena.
Lastly, i prayed for myself.
i seldom pray for myself, but on sunday, i know i need the power of God to work through me and i need the oil of the holy spirit...the anointing in my playing!
i sat down on the floor, with the song "sanctuary" played from pam's laptop...
i just lifted up my hands and asked for the Lord's anointing to flow through me. Every single note and chord that i play will carry the anointing and the presence of God. As I play the guitar, let my heart be so true, so pure and passionate for You. Lord, here is my heart. make it Your sanctuary! I prayed.
this is my heart's cry and i prayed with all my heart.
at that moment, i heard the voice of God answering my prayer!
- "I will dwell in your heart forever."
and i saw a picture...with a finger pointing to my heart.
His presence filled my heart. It is that voice! That voice which will bring a smile to my face, bring tears to my eyes...that affirming voice which holds down every fear and anxieties, and brings a sweetness into your heart because you know that every word that proceeds from His mouth will not fall to the ground.
I trust Him.
there is so much cry in me to have
a heart that's ever true to God, to myself and to others.
I just love Him so much. He means the world to me.
I love Pst How and Pst Lia too.
Thank you for sharing your heart with me all the time.
I want to be your daughter in the faith...always!
I know I am (:

Heart to Heart
Heart to Heart with Pastors was awesome!
The sharing from Pastors' hearts changed my heart.
I felt so different now.
Desiring to love God more, love His presence.
Be a daughter in the faith...always!
Everything's changed, everything's different!
I know it and I just know it.
It's time to fly high with Jesus, with Pastors and the church!
a heart that's ever true to God, to myself and to others...
BIGBIGBIG!
Joanne
